Usually we are not conscious how our brain works and sometimes we just let other circumstances program us. There are a lot of studies that showed us how the human brain works. The human brain is capable of anything!
The mind has an infinite storage where all of our memories and experiences go and stay. This show us exactly with what kind of speed and memory our brain actually works. But, most of the time that is something that people are not aware of.
In this article I want to show you some of the many “functions” our mind can do and is actually doing in every second that passes by.
YOUR BODY RESPONDS TO WHAT YOU THINK
Thoughts produce various reactions on our bodies. For example, thinking stressful thoughts will make your body go all stiff. Thinking about something that scares you will make your shoulders go up to protect your neck. Thinking thoughts that produce happy chemicals relaxes your body. Your thoughts are the middle realm between your inner and outer world, and your body responds accordingly.
THINKING ABOUT THE PAIN, WILL CAUSE MORE PAIN
For example, if you have a headache and you start to concentrate more on the pain, your mind listens to your command. If you were in a fight with someone you love, thinking about the pain this caused you will cause more pain. This is because your mind listens to you. What you focus on, it thinks. It can be a faithful servant if you embrace your power. You can’t fix an argument with someone if you focus on the pain that argument brought you. You need to take a hold of your mind and steer it in the right direction.
EVERYDAY MEDITATION HELPS YOUR BRAIN TO FIND THE WAY IN ACHIEVING THE GOALS
Meditating at least once a day rewires your brain and helps your mind think more clearly. Even more, you will start to calm you body and your brain bringing them into a healthier state. With calming the brain activity, you start to concentrate on what is really important to you. With meditating, a lot of unnecessary feelings that cloud your judgment and prevent you from seeing options fade off leaving you centered and balanced. You are more connected to your higher self.
YOUR MIND SHAPES THE STATE YOU GIVE TO YOURSELF
Your thoughts construct a prism through which you observe the world you live in. Your emotions give this structure color and shape the reality within this prism. But both of these elements can be managed through your mind.
YOU DIRECT YOUR MIND
You are always in charge of what you think. Not all thoughts are consciously produced by you. However, all thoughts are yours. You are in charge of them. Sometimes it’s ok to observe the chatter in your mind, let it play out without being affected by it. Sometimes it’s ok to steer your mind and thoughts toward the right direction. It’s your choice. You are in charge. You control it.
YOUR MIND CAN CREATE WHATEVER MODE YOU CAN PROGRAM
All modes benefit a certain aspect of yourself. For example, the “fight or flight” mode helped us make the necessary reaction in the right time in all dangerous moments. This helped us survive. However, you are in control of this power and you can program your own modes that benefit your aim. For example, with proper NLP techniques you can program a mode that simply by touching your palm you feel confidence. You can even ‘uninstall’ modes that do not benefit you anymore.
YOUR MIND PRODUCES YOUR FEELINGS
The difference between an emotion and a feeling is that, emotions are energies in motion while feelings are chemical produces as an outcome of what you feel. You don’t feel all your emotions. Your brain is what makes it possible for your to convert an emotion into a feeling, into a physical chemical that takes or gives you additional energy.
USE YOUR MIND TO THINK OF ANYTHING
Your mind has a potential to think of literally anything! You can connect every single bit of information you have with every other, in infinite number of ways. This theoretically means that you can literally think of anything, however, this requires creativity and takes a lot of energy. Especially if you have other things to use your mind for, like what to wear.
You have inside of you a ‘machine’ that is more powerful than any other in the world.
Use it in order to program yourself to do what is positive and what is healthy for you.
Your mind can be your most faithful servant, or your most ruthless prison. Only when you embrace your power, you can take hold of this force waiting for you to master it.
