Published by one of Europe’s leading newspaper, BILD.de, the photographs of a 38 cm (15 inches) long finger shake the world of Paleocontact. But are they real?
Swiss archaeologist Gregor Spörri released the photo to the newspaper Bild last year. According to him, it was discovered in Egypt in 1988 and the owner of the giant finger was a grave robber that acquired the piece while searching through an “undisclosed thumb” in Egypt.
After paying, $300 Spörri had a look at the grave robber’s treasure which was the skin and bone wrapped in old rags. He was allowed to take photographs but not to buy the artifact.
With its incredible length, it had to belong to a creature that was over 5 meters (16 feet) height. There is even a X-Ray image from the 60’s.
BUT IS IT REAL?
A simple DNA test will reveal it, but Gregor Spörri found that the finger was stolen and never to be found again. This is, of course, a great “hoax alert”.
Until this day, the photographs are the only proof about this strange and unique discovery.
Were there giants in Egypt?
The Roman historian Flavius Josephus reported in 79 AD in his history of the Jewish War that “there were giants. Much larger and different than normal people. Horrible to look at. Who has not seen with his own eyes, he can ot believe that they have been so enormous. ”
Josephus also says that in the vicinity of Hebron during the time of Moses that “There were till then left the race of giants, who had bodies so large, and countenances so entirely different from other men, that they were surprising to the sight and terrible to the hearing. The bones of these men are still shown to this very day, unlike to any credible relations of other men”
Also in the Bible we are told about giants:
Genesis 6:4New King James Version (NKJV)
There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Could theses giants be alien creatures? Maybe the Nephilim?
