A Few Easy Ways to Have More Energy
Herbs: There are some wonderful herbs that will boost up a person energy level and make them feel great. These herbs are also good for the body. They help balance our hormones and heal the body in general at the same time. Gotu Kola is a wonderful herb for energy and taking 500 to 1000 mg a day will really boost up a person’s energy level and it’s a very safe herb. There is also cordyceps mushroom capsules. Taking one 500 mg capsule a day is very important especially as we grow older. Eating goji berries stimulates our nervous system and prevents infections. The consumption of 30 to 40 dried goji berries a day will do the body good.
Qigong: This healing art from Asia moves Chi or Ki into the body gives a person energy. The universe is full of energy. It is out there for the taking. All we have to do is pull a little bit of that powerful Ki into our bodies. Qigong is about breathing, movement, and visualization which brings the vital energy of the cosmos into our body. Qigong can heal many illnesses and revitalize every part of the body. Find a qigong instructor near you and learn the ancient art of qigong.
Meditation: Meditation is usually thought of as a way to calm the mind down. But meditation also has the ability to preserve vital energy and thus invigorate the body. In fact, many people who meditate two or three hours a day only sleep three or four hours at night. This is because the mind is resting instead of always burning vital energy, and thus the body has more vital energy in general. Take a class in TM (Transcendental Meditation) or Vipassana Meditation and feel great.
Subliminal Boost: Our conscious mind has about one billion neurons in our brain, but our unconscious mind has four times that many neurons. Thus, our unconscious mind is really running the show. Sometimes, we have things that occurred in this life time or other lifetimes that can steal energy from our body. But there is a way to overcome this and it’s called subliminal healing. Take a smart phone and record a list of positive affirmations such as the following “I am full of vitality, I feel alive, I am excited to wake up in the morning, I feel vital, I feel great, I have lots of energy” and other positive affirmations. Now play this recording with a pillow speaker so that the volume is barely audible, and play it all night long for 30 days and feel great again.
