  1. This is a very misleading article. I understand that one's intentions may be pure but we cannot just go throwing information out there in the hopes of helping others without doing the full research. I have found valuable insight in many articles on this site and because of that insight, I learned a great deal ab out turmeric and its bio availability in the human body. Turmeric is absolutely useless unless combined with either black pepper or something like coconut oil, or heated up. The liver detects it instantly and says nope, not happening, and immediately filters it out of the body, regardless of how much is consumed. Black pepper works as a smoke screen for it so it can get by the liver and into the bloodstream. Check this out for further info. I am a Type-1 diabetic, long distance runner and practitioner of energy healing. I use turmeric every day and I am a huge proponent of it. http://www.turmericforhealth.com/general-info/how-to-improve-bioavailability-of-turmeric
