You can never be sure whether any irresponsible seller instead of eatable is using unauthorized agents based on wax. Therefore, wash you apples very well for avoid those which are coated with wax.


How to recognize fruits with wax?

Relatively it is very easy to spot the wax on the surface of the fruit. First of all pay attention to the appearance of the fruits. The expressed glow of the apples indicate permanent wax on the surface. One of the surest ways for check whether the apples are waxed just scratch with your nail on the bark, roll over the fruit on your palm and those which are waxed will leave white marks on your hands. How to remove the wax?

There many ways for doing it. One of the ways is washing the apples with warm water. The other way is using water and brush the apples carefully with one soft brush. Of course be careful, the brush should not do damage to the fruit. Vinegar can be also helpful. Apply vinegar on cotton cloth and remove the wax and rinse the fruit after under running water.
