Time is Speeding Up; Really!

When I say, “Time is speeding up,” people just look at me and say, “It’s just because you are getting older.” I don’t think so. There is evidence that time may in fact be speeding up.

Firstly, one must understand that time is relative. Traditionally, we think of time as being a constant in the universe, but it’s not. Einstein proved that. His calculations showed that the closer an object comes to the speed of light, the slower time passes. Scientists have done experiments that prove Einstein’s theory to be correct.

So, if Einstein’s theory is correct, then the opposite must be true; if our speed decreases, time will speed up! Researcher Greg Braden says that that is exactly what is happening. The rotation of the Earth is slowing down, and time is speeding up. Evidence for his assertions comes from the Schumann Resonance. The Schumann Resonance is, in layman’s terms, the heartbeat of the Earth. In scientific terms, it is the Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) of the Earth’s magnetic field. In the 1950’s when the Schumann resonance was discovered, it was recorded to be an average of 7.8 Hertz. Now, according to Swedish and Russian researchers, says Braden, it is an average of 12 Hertz. That means that the normal 24-hour day feels like a 16-hour day. In essence, we’ve lost one third of our normal daytime.

Interestingly, the Bible predicted this would happen. It reads, “And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and theday shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” (Revelations 8:12).

However, if time is speeding up, how come the clocks aren’t speeding up? Why don’t the clocks on Earth indicate a 16 hour day? That’s a great question! I have the same question, and I don’t have a scientific answer for you. My best guess would be that the speed of the electrical pulses on Earth is somehow tied to speed of the rotation of the Earth. This would explain why a two-hour movie, still takes two hours to play by our clocks. But, how can the speed of the rotation of the Earth affect anything on Earth (other than time)? Well, we know for a fact that the Earth’s magnetic field has been weakening at a parabolic rate. And since magnetism and electricity are so closely related, wouldn’t this have an effect on the electricity of the planet?

Furthermore, Mr. Braden says that the Earth’s rotation will eventually stop with respect to the sun, and start rotating the opposite direction. Scientists have known for a long time that there have been reversals in our Earth’s magnetic field once about every 10-12 thousand years, but they don’t know why or how. Greg Braden provides us with an answer. Our Earth is a gigantic magnet. In elementary physics, we learn that if you change the direction of the rotation of the electro-magnetic we reverse the direction of the magnetic field.

That, as it may be; I wonder how is it possible that so many people are oblivious to the acceleration of time? If you’ve ever seen the movie, “The Cube,” you might get the picture. In one room of the cube, time was slower; and in another room of the cube, time was faster. However, to the perceivers inside each room, time seemed constant. They were completely unaware of the change in the speed of time, except when the characters looked into another room, from without. That’s why many people today, think that I’m crazy to suggest that time is speeding up; because it is nearly imperceptible. However, I use benchmarks to measure time. Like when I was a child in the car looking out the window. As my father accelerated very slowly, I could not feel the acceleration, but I saw the fence posts going by faster and faster. The fence posts were my benchmarks.

The benchmarks that I use today to perceive the acceleration of time are as follows. I cannot teach the same amount of material in one 40-minute lesson that I could two years ago. I cannot get the same amount of work done in an 8-hour work day as I could two years ago. I cannot get the same amount of tasks done in a 24-hour day as I could two years ago. Am I the only person who has notices these things? No. Just do a Google-search for “time is speeding up” and you will see 37 million web-pages that deal with the issue of time speeding up. Some of the authors of the aforementioned websites have made the connection between Greg Braden’s work and Terence McKenna’s work entitled, “Time-Wave Zero”. Mr. McKenna’s work is fascinating. In a nutshell, he took the 64 ideograms from the I-Ching and mapped them in a linear fashion onto a 2-dimensional graph. He got a “time wave”. When he placed the “time wave graph” over a time graph of World history, he noticed some amazing correlations. The peaks of the “time wave graph” matched significant events in world history. While that is interesting in and of itself, the most interesting thing is that the wave ends on December 21, 2012. At that precise point, the wave hits the zero line on the graph, and Terence McKenna interprets that as the end of time. There will be no time. We will be in a state of being where there is NO TIME.

Even more interesting is what Greg Braden says. He says that when the Schumann resonance hits 13 Hertz, we time will speed up to infinity. How he arrived at that conclusion is beyond me. However, some new-agers have interpreted this to mean that we who will be living on planet Earth when that happens will experience a shift in consciousness. The veils of secrecy will be lifted. We will then become cognizant of all the lies that we’ve been told by politicians, historians, and the like. Furthermore, it is told by the ancients that the veil between this mortal realm and the spirit realm will dissolve. We will be able to freely converse with those on “the other side”. If what the new-agers and the ancients predict is true, I personally can’t wait.

Leave Einstein out of this. Sense of time can't be attributed to Einstein's theory of relativity. The hypothesis of this theory is the Earth's rotation being the only movement of the Earth. The second necessary hypothesis of this theory being that time is relative to the movement of the Earth. This guy has the theory of relativity backwards.
Time is relative to the speed of light, not the speed of the Earth's rotation. Approach the speed of light and you might be able to notice change in time.To be honest, nobody really knows if humans can perceive a change in time. It would be interesting if we could get people close to the speed of light and see.
My second point is that the Earth also rotates around the sun. and our solar system moves within the universe itself. The change in the Earth's rotation would be neglible. The ratio of the Earth's rotational velocity to the Earth's orbital velocity is approximately 100:1. This isn't even accounting for the Earth's movement within the solar system.
Even if this theory held true, this would mean that your location on Earth would dictate how fast time flowed. If you stood on the equator that is the maximum circumference of the Earth's rotation. If you stood on the North/South Pole then time would stand still. Anywhere between these points would be a range between the two.
So in summary, this guy has almost blended the old theory of Earth being at the center of the universe and the theory of relativity together. Earth is not the basis of time. Time is the basis of time.

The other point about Schumann resonance is also complete bullshit. Schumann resonance is a method of lightning detection and varies between 3-100Hz (after a quick google). Some scientists may well be detecting 12Hz today compared to the 8Hz measured in the 50s. Time is not a relevant factor in Schumanns resonance.

I am so relieved to read your posts. Unlike many of the other commenters, so very many of us feel that time has truly been seeimingly spinning out of control and it's not just the older people but the young ones as well.
At first it seemed like the weeks were flying by, then the months, then the seasons and now it is the years.
This is not due to the fast pace of modern life as some explain. You are correct in the amount of work one can get done in one day. I absolutely agree with you.

I do experience time flow. I am sensitive to the changes of time. Keep in mind, Time itself is man's invention. I've started to experience this not too long ago.

I had a dream about this as well and it bothers me greatly and cannot forget. It was livid with clarity.

It has something to do with the insides of all of us and the outsides of all of us. We become dislocated within our bodies because we had kept all those negative thoughts within us and must be released. If there is no release, then the "heaviness" of the heart increases as the days go by.

Those who are found on the ground outside, breathing, living, but cannot get up, are those who are facing a internal dilemma. Its all personal, for the each one of us. *Only those who have attained knowledge of the good and the bad* *Children will not be effected if they do not know the difference*

Those who face our internal problems, and have dealt with it, we will find equal balance within us. Once we get up from the ground/floor, we will then realize the true abilities that we will possess. Sounds like sci-fi, doesn't it? We will see.

It is possible that all hell will break loose once these abilities surface. Wars will turn into hell, beyond than what we have seen today. A lot of people will die.

It is also possible that we actually can control these abilities and peace will reign on Earth for a very long time. Wars all over the world will be finished, everyone returns to their homes, money, etc, anything that has to do with the 'root of evil' will be abolished forever.

Is this true? That we have a choice we must make? Or is it all a hoax to begin with? If we choose the bad things, we will do bad things. If we choose the good things, we will do good things.

Good v. Bad - that title fight is coming. Governments all over the world, secret or not, are fully aware of this. This is why they've been spraying all this chemical bullcrap in the air. Those chemical compositions are DNA alternating chemicals. It has nothing to do with weather control as much they want us to believe.

I tell you now, chemicals sprayed in the air will not deter against us. It's a total waste of your time spraying this stuff. It will also be a waste of your time attempting to manipulate the minds of man with your HAARP technologies, etc.

All that stuff is a waste of your time. Why? Because people do not exactly know what will happen. Thus the choice between good and bad.

Definition of the good and the bad is still another man's invention. Only the creator will define it, as so much it is believed in all religions.

It sucks doesn't it. I would like to see peace reign on earth for once. I've been here for thousands of years, going from one body to the next, its nothing but a old style repeat of war, turmoil, pain...etc... I think its time to say "enough is enough"...

There are many like me, but are well kept within us not to share.

Time shift is what I am experiencing on a increasing higher level when the mayan date reaches. End of the world? No. End of our selfishness, yes.

That is all.
Believe it or not. I do not care, but I wanted to share.

It was all so good until the part about the Earth rotation changing - the pole shift that you referred to does not change the rotational direction of the planet - THAT has never, and will never, occur, Earth will allways spin "east to west".

Clocks measure artificial time. This is why they don't reflect the change….just like the calendar that the world uses is not accurate to the correct year or seasons.
