GMO OH NO! Monsanto attempts to force seeds on Nepal


Monsanto has taken another step in their attempt to dominate the world's agriculture.

In Nepal, the agriculture giant convinced the local government to force GMO seeds on its farmers, in turn causing a mass protest.

The maize seeds have been banned in some parts of the European Union, but the company alleges that their man-made variant of the crop will help boost production.

Christopher D. Cook, author of Diet for a Dead Planet, joins us with his take on Monsanto.
